How do I update my video card drivers so I can play minecraft?

I'm trying to play minecraft, I payed and registered and everything and when I finally run it some big thing comes up and says I need to update my video card drivers in order to play minecraft. Please help|||It depends on what video card you have, try to go to the homepage of your videocards developer and search for drivers there. Sometimes drivers can't be found, and then you have to buy a new video card.|||Even though this is happening you can still play minecraft on the browser one bad thing is you cant download mods ore texture packs =( but its still fun.
