My video card is a VIA/S3G UniChromeII - every single download site I've tried has not worked... Please help? Thank you.

How to update video card driver?
i want to play this mmorpg game but it keeps reminding me to update my video card driver and i have no idea how to. how do i do this?|||First, you need to find out what kind of video card you have. This can be found in the hardware section of the Control Panel.
Once you have the video card model, go to the GPU manufacturer site (either AMD or Nvidia).
There is a "download" section where you can get the drivers for free.

I downloaded Second Life and when I try to play it says: Error Second Life is unable to run because your video card drivers did not install properly, are out of date, or are unsupported hardware. Updated my video card drivers, now video won't play?
I recently have had trouble playing the blu-ray "Book of Eli" on my PC using PowerDVD 9 Ultra. It was crashing back to the desktop once the menu started loading, and I figure I had to update my drivers. So, I updated my video card drivers and restarted the PC. Now, video doesn't play. I hear sound, but all I see is a white screen. This goes for regular DVDs and any video files I play on my PC, with the exception of .wmv files.
Here's my setup:
Windows XP SP2
AMD Athlon X2 2.25ghz
2GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4670 agp (made by HIS)
SoundBlaster Audigy ZS2
LG CH08 internal Blu-ray drive

So, I'm wondering how I can do this.|||From the model of your laptop, I suppose that you have an Intel Graphics Media Accelarator in your laptop as the main display adapter. Now the driver depends on the OS which u are using. I have found this drivers:

Well I wanted to play minecraft, and when I downloaded it. It said I needed to update my video card drivers. So can someone tell me how to update it? Updating the video card driver on a computer?
I am having problems playing GTA San Andreas. It is very slow when i play it. I was told i need to update my video card driver. When doing this do i need to uninstall my current driver before installing a higher version?|||No need to uninstall, it'll automatically update itself over the existing driver.
The only time that you would need to uninstall old drivers would be if you're switching from NVIDIA to ATI or vice versa.
If you're going from let's say a Geforce 7600GT to a Geforce 8800GT or a RADEON 9600 to an HD3870, simply updating over top of the existing drivers will do nicely.
You can always uninstall the old drivers just to be sure of no problems, but it's really not necessary, I've never had issues.

and i went to go to my device manager and proceeded to try and update it but my computer says the device is fully up to date and im running on the windows 7 operating systems and i need help please any help is useful besides telling me i need to update cause ive tried and it doesnt work

If I have a overclocked graphics card, and I update my drivers, does it erase the overclock done to it? It's a BFG NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT OC. So the overclock was done to it before I bought it, I dont want to update any drivers and end up not having it overclocked anymore. Thanks.|||the card should run on the same frequency regardless of the drivers|||If you have an "OC" model it is over-clocked at the factory on a hardware level. I have the 8800 model of that card and have not had any issues when I update the drivers.

My Aero Effects are not working on my computer. I tried trouble shooting the problem and it says "The current video card may support Aero with a driver that is compatible with the windows display driver model (WDDM). Unable to update video card driver?
I've had this problem for a while. I have a lot of different online games that I love, but I can't run them from the new computer I got about 2 weeks ago. I get messages telling me to update my video card driver. I went to the Intel site to update it, but it's unable to update them.
I did a scan to find updates on the Intel site, and it said the product was Intel® 945G and the driver is 6.14.10.4410. when I look in my display settings, it says i have the Intel 82945g Express Chipset Family. I really don't understand this sort of thing, so I can't give much more info.
Would it be okay for me to just download a new driver from Nvidia or another provider, or would that ruin my computer? When the drivers on my computer are newer than the drivers listed on the windows update? I installed the most recent drivers for my specific video card and OS, windows 7, from the ATI website. Why cant I update my video card driver? [HD 3650]
So I got a new PC and a little problem came up, I cant seem to download the drivers for the HD 3650 card. I go on ATI.com and go to download drivers, select windows vista x64, select radeon, and selected the video card. I downloaded the suite (it says at the side its catalyst centre video card driver).

Yes I know this has been answered etc, but currently I need to update my video card driver for minecraft, some of you have probably heard of it. It has been my experience that a video driver might fix some bugs but will not make a graphics card run faster or considerably better. Perhaps you know something I don't?
How do I update my Video Card Drivers on OS Windows 7? Manually...?

Computer will not update video card driver or iTunes help?
So. My computer (Windows 7) has never been good about updates, especially with iTunes. I've tried to update iTunes multiple times over time, and it never works. Now that iOS 5 is out, I'd like to update my iPod, but it says I need iTunes 10.5 (I think I have iTunes 10.2.something). Every time I try to update it it fails. Id also like to update my video card driver so I can play minecraft, but I tried to do it through windows updates, and that fails every time too. My video card is a NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430. How do I fix these update problems? New video driver update messes my pc up more?
I reinstalled windows and went to the Nvidia website to update my video card driver, and the last time I was given the link and reinstalled it (few days ago) it worked fine, but this time when installing the same version driver, it causes my color and viewing quality to go way down.
I had to uninstall my Nvidia driver completely to get the horrid view off. So am I upfating it wrongly? I had a Nvidia Gfroce, i forget the name but it had 8 and 6 in it.|||try redoing it again

I Need help updating my video card driver!?
Recently, when trying to view YouTube videos full-screen on my computer, the video would show up in black and white, and offset. I searched for answers to this problem on the internet, and many people suggested turning off hardware acceleration. This works, but it makes all the controls such as the pause button really pixelated. I've installed the newest display driver for my graphics card (An NVIDIA GEForce 7300 LE) which is version 195.62. This fixes the problem. But every time i turn off the computer, when i turn it back on it has reverted to its originally driver software. How do I install the driver properly?

I have had a problem with my computer being unstable. I sent my video card in to get fixed. Not to long after I got it back my computer suddenly craped out. It would have artifacts all over the screen during startup and the screen would turn off before windows started. Fans and lights were still running, but my screen would turn off. I sent the video card in again and recently got it back. Just as before the same thing has happened. Someone suggested that it could be the drivers so how do I update drivers when I cant even get to windows|||Try going into safe mode. Press F8 repeatedly when you start the computer. Choose Safe mode with networking (or get the drivers from someone else's computer). Update the drivers by going to Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Display Adapters > double-click your video card > driver > update driver.|||Go on another computer and download the drivers onto a floppy disk and insert that into the computer and enter the BIOS screen. From there you should be able to load the drivers. However, the easier way of doing it would be to install the video card in another machine and if that one works then you know it isnt the video card that is causing you problems.|||switch from windows to ubuntu linux,, its free and will detect and download the drivers for you.

In order to play Portal 2 on my PC I've realized that I need a better video card driver.. (Intel HD Graphics 2000 or higher)

Though, I have a Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit version, and I got the download for that.. :/|||You don't have the minimal requirements because that's not your video card driver. You must download drivers for your video card (you could have NVIDIA), which you didn't say. If you want to know your video card download GPU-Z (link below), when download has finish and installed, open the gpu-z.exe file and there is lots of info of your GPU (graphic card) and also the name of your graphic card. Then you can install the right drivers for your video card. HD Graphics 2000 higher means you must have a graphic card that is higher than an "HD 2000" (its not the driver version its the GPU Hardware).
So if you have an ATI higher then "HD 2000" your OK. If not, you have to buy a new graphic card for your PC. If you want to play Portal 2 only, get an "HD 4350" It will be the cheapest.
Also if you have an NVIDIA GeForce 7600 or higher, your OK. If not, you must also buy a better video card. the "9800GTX+" will be the cheapest and it will run very good for that game.

I have a NVIDIA Geforce FX 5200 with 128 MB and I want a GeForce FX 5900 or higher. Can someone tell me exactly where to get this and how? Try rolling back/updating the driver (right click). If that fails or you don't have one to roll back - look on the manufacturer's site for the correct, updated, drivers for your OS/graphics card.
To install the drivers, unzip the downloaded file, double click 'Setup' and follow any prompts then re-start (turn off, then on).

If you are using Windows Vista then you probably shouldn't update your card unless you really need to as Vista has problems with hardware updates. Here are some instructions for you if you have Windows XP or similar.
1. Find out what driver you have. Right click on your desktop and select properties. Click on the Settings tab. Your video card is listed here - it should say something like 1. [something] Monitor on [your video card here].
2. If you are on a desktop computer, type your video card's name into google and try to get to the manufacturer's site. If you have a laptop/notebook computer, then you probably need to go to your laptop's manufacturer's site instead.
3. On the website of the video card manufacturer or laptop manufacturer, navigate to downloads/driver updates and see if you can locate your video card/laptop model. Once you find it, download the update.
4. If your update has a setup program, run that and it should guide you through the installation. If it does not: Go to Start > Control Panel > System and click on the Hardware tab. Click device manager. Click the little plus beside Display adapters. Your video card will be listed there, right-click on it and select Update Driver. The wizard will guide you through the update.
Be very careful that you install the correct driver update! If you have a problem after installing the new update, rollback the driver. To do this, navigate to the Device Manager (see step 4) and instead of clicking Update Driver, select Properties. Click the driver tab then select Rollback Driver.

you will get the result, either you have to download the updated driver or you have to install it online.
but i recommend you please don't upgrade your drivers , because sometimes upgrading will cause your computers speed or your device won't work well ..

1. Find out what driver you have. Right click on your desktop and select properties. Click on the Settings tab. Your video card is listed here - it should say something like 1. [something] Monitor on [your video card here].
2. If you are on a desktop computer, type your video card's name into google and try to get to the manufacturer's site. If you have a laptop/notebook computer, then you probably need to go to your laptop's manufacturer's site instead.
3. On the website of the video card manufacturer or laptop manufacturer, navigate to downloads/driver updates and see if you can locate your video card/laptop model. Once you find it, download the update.
4. If your update has a setup program, run that and it should guide you through the installation. If it does not: Go to Start > Control Panel > System and click on the Hardware tab. Click device manager. Click the little plus beside Display adapters. Your video card will be listed there, right-click on it and select Update Driver. The wizard will guide you through the update.
Be very careful that you install the correct driver update! If you have a problem after installing the new update, rollback the driver. To do this, navigate to the Device Manager (see step 4) and instead of clicking Update Driver, select Properties. Click the driver tab then select Rollback Driver.

you will get the result, either you have to download the updated driver or you have to install it online.
but i recommend you please don't upgrade your drivers , because sometimes upgrading will cause your computers speed or your device won't work well ..

I need to update my video card driver for the Windows Vista?
What do i do? I just bought the game City of Heroes and it won't work because it is telling me that my video card driver is outdated. My computer is new! How can anything be outdated?! Anyways if anyone can tell me exactly what I need and how to get it, All help would be appreciated.|||go to www.driverguide.com, they have lots of new version of driver for windows vista... its free to download there, all you have to do is to register for free...|||If running Windows Update doesn't come up with a driver update for your system, go to the manufacturer(of the video card)'s website, find Support/Downloads/Drivers (whatever it's called there) and navigate to latest available driver for Vista. Also, know whether you're running Vista in 32- or 64-bit installation, as there will likely be a different driver for each.

How do i update my video card drivers?
I tried playing Age Of Conan today and the graphics were really choppy and they suggested that i update them but don't even have a clue as to how to do that, can you give me a step by step walkthrough?|||The minimum requirements are on every game box.
If you downloaded it, there is probably a 'Readme' file that may list the minimums.
As for upgrading drivers, get 'em from the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
Or...
Download 'TechTracker' from CNET.com.
That program will scan your HDD (Hard Disk Drive), suggest needed upgrades and install them for you if you wish.
