How do i update my video card drivers?

i would like to update my video card drivers because a program wont run.

how would i do this?

thanks in advance :)|||Make/model of the card would have helped!

Look in device manager..

You will need to be logged on as an administrator in order to do this.

Open Device Manager, click Start, and then click Control Panel. Double-click System. On the Hardware tab, click Device Manager.

Try rolling back/updating the driver (right click). If that fails or you don't have one to roll back - look on the manufacturer's site for the correct, updated, drivers for your OS/graphics card.

To install the drivers, unzip the downloaded file, double click 'Setup' and follow any prompts then re-start (turn off, then on).

Identify the make and model of your video card (you can do this in the display properties)

Visit the website for the video card manufacturer (probably NVidia or ATi or Intel)

Download the latest driver package from the support pages

Uninstall the current drivers

Reboot the PC

Install the latest drivers downloaded previously

Reboot

Done

If you want more detailed info you should post the version of Windows you are running.|||ROFLCOPTER!

You got an ATI dude? Here's da place.

Nvidia guy? You just go here.

With either of the two u'll need than to provide the name and model of your GPU letting the website automatically point to you the right latest version.|||http://lnk.co/UpdateDrivers

You can update your drivers automatically without searching around so much for the right ones. So your video card drivers can be up to date.
