How do I update my video card driver for windows XP?

What kind of video card do you have?

For ATI cards:

http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html

For Nvidia cards:

http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.asp…

Simple to download the drivers. Specify your Operating System and you are pointed to the correct drivers. There are instructions there too.

Usually, you would have to uninstall the current drivers under "add/remove programs", restart the computer, and install the new drivers.

If you have a laptop,

ATI: http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool/

Nvidia: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/

If you have an Intel video card then just go to Intel's website in the support section.

Edit: Right click the desktop and select Properties. Go to the Settings tab and click the Advanced tab.

or

I know if you right click the desktop and see either an ATI or Nvidia logo then you can click that.

Now all you have to do is find the version number.|||thanks, i can play minecraft on my old computer now XD
