If you use a driver download utility like this one : http://www.officialdrivers.com/drivers.p…

it will automatically detect and download the drivers needed.

It's very helpful and I hope you fine it as useful as I did.

How to update video card driver?

i want to play this mmorpg game but it keeps reminding me to update my video card driver and i have no idea how to. how do i do this?|||First, you need to find out what kind of video card you have. This can be found in the hardware section of the Control Panel.

Once you have the video card model, go to the GPU manufacturer site (either AMD or Nvidia).

There is a "download" section where you can get the drivers for free.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck.

Hey how do i update my video card drivers for my Dell latitude D620?

nough said,

windows xp btw|||Only from Dell support site directly, because Dell hardware will not work with regular drivers, so get them from DELL directly.

Here is a link, you do the rest.

http://support.dell.com/support/download…

(thank you for not copy pasting my answer)|||Go to http://www.support.dell.com and click on download driver and look the drivers up by the model number and installed operating system and installed hardware/devises and click download.

Here are all the drivers for your lap top by model number and OS:

http://support.dell.com/support/download…|||You can use the drivers directly from nvidia, but they are beta (might have some bugs in them). So if the dell drivers do not work, you can give these a try.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/quadro_nvs_…|||http://www.dell-drivers.org/dell-drivers… the program there may help get the drivers you need easily and correctly instead of dell.com. it offers free scan and is good to use. ;)

How can I reinstall/update my video card drivers for free? PLEASE READ DETAILS BEFORE ANSWERING IMPORTANT!?

I downloaded Second Life and when I try to play it says: Error Second Life is unable to run because your video card drivers did not install properly, are out of date, or are unsupported hardware. Please make sure that you have the latest video card drivers and if you don't have the latest try reinstalling them. I have tried scanning and I have around 33% of out of date drivers and every time I try updating them I have to pay. I need to REINSTALL/UPDATE my Video Card Drivers for FREE! That's how I've always done it.|||You did not give any information on your computer or your video board. Make and model please.

You should not be using any driver upgrade software. It is garbage and is usually wrong. It messes up a lot of computers. Waste of money.

Once you post your make and model of computer on this question you can get more help.

Drivers are always free from video card maker.|||It depends on how old your video card is. Most companies aren't making Vista drivers for old hardware. If this is the case you may find open source drivers online that will work.

Can i Update my Video Card Driver (Desktop)?

Allright here's the Story, I got this computer for FREE from my girlfriends parents. She works at an office and it was custom built for their company, It currently has the Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family. So, my question, is that i was looking to upgrade to a new Video card, but i do NOT know what type of Video card slot my computer may have, if it even has one at all. Or if i can simply replace the current Chipset, but with what kind of video card. I realised that there is PCI, AGP, and PCI-Express. So im wondering if at all possible i would be able to replace this current card i have for something better. Im looking for a Gaming card, and i would like to know how to get ANY specs you guys need. Thank you.|||ok if you open up your computer you will see that it doesn't have a graphics card at all. the graphics chip that it is using is integrated. look at the empty slots and you can tell if it's AGP, PCI, or Pci-Express.

Pci-express is the best one. it is also the longest one and could be recognized by looking at the locking mechanism at the end of the slot.

If you dont plan on replacing the power supply, then look for the best graphics card that doesnt need extra power recognizable by no power slots on the side of it|||There is no such thing as a 'gaming card' Just graphics card. The computer will have a slot for it, yes. Open up the computer and the motherboard should have a make and model written on it. Google the make and model so say it is an Asus m2n sli deluxe then google 'Asus m2n sli deluxe spec' and it will tell you what it is. If it is less than 3/4 years old and it is pci, then chances are it will have pci & pci-e. Or it will be an AGP. Failing that, take it to a computer shop and ask them to tell you what it is. They can't charge you for something like that
