Need to update my video card driver for Star Trek online. Kinda clueless how. I went to the ati site but was pretty confused. Is they a simple easy way to do this?|||Sure if you have the correct driver already installed...
If you dont know the model ------------
Click Start
Right click My Computer
Click Properties
Click the Hardware tab (if Vista, skip this step)
Click Device Manager button (top left for Vista)
Click the plus next to Display adapters
You should see your model no.
Go to ATI's site here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pa…
Select OS
Select Series
Select Model
Download the Catalyst driver.
Install, and you are good to go!|||Go to Device Manager in the Control Panel. Then find your ATI card in the hardware list. Then right click and select Update Driver. Hopefully Windows will search online for the driver and install it automatically. If that option is not available, then go to the ATI site online and download it manually.|||no, the best way is the website way. that's how we all do it. i never used radeon products but for geforce, you go to nvidia.com, there's a download drivers tab, you just follow the instructions and download your driver installer, then run that installer and your driver will be updated. i'm sure it's similar for radeon. good luck.|||first find out which graphics card you have
You can do that by
Start->Run->type dxdiag
then go yo the display tab and check out the details and then you can google it.
